Not real sure why I'm writing this, but it seemed like an interesting thing to do despite the fact that I'm not a writer and journaling is a real struggle for me. We'll see how it goes as I discover whether or not I ever have anything profound to say. It's unlikely, but maybe I'll decide I enjoy writing out my thoughts. Whether or not you enjoy reading them remains to be seen.

How transparent can one be on a blog? I'm a very real person, so it might prove difficult to draw the line at what I really think and what the reader might be able to accept. I'm known for my honesty (which as been called brutal), so reader beware. Will it pass muster? Again, we'll see.

Perhaps my trip to California in a couple of weeks will be a good jump start for me as well as being a good way of sharing the trip with others. Yes, I believe that will be the inaugural series. (Gee, I hope I spelled that right. I tried 3 times.)
